Help is here.

We offer two levels of support.

Educational Advocacy

Our Process:

At Highest Potentials, our priority is building a positive relationship with your family. Families will complete an introductory form containing essential information about their loved one's disability, medical diagnosis, educational history, progress reports, any existing 504 plans or IEPs and goals for our collaboration.

In your family's onboarding , we work together collaboratively to identify goals and gaps in your student's plan and what supports are available to help bridge those gaps. This becomes your roadmap for navigating the educational system.

The level of support your family desires determines our next steps. Our levels of ongoing support are listed on this page. Both levels include the pre-consultation stage and creation of your family's customized roadmap with clear steps to follow to access services and supports.

Additional consultations and add-on services are always available at both tier for a one-time fee.

Done For You

Our highest level of support, after you receive your customized roadmap following your pre-consultation, you will get hands-on support including assistance filling out forms and accessing services and supports related to your child's education and disability services. This also includes preparation prior to your child's 504/IEP meetings and attendance at these meetings.

Educational Advocacy

From one of our parents...

We started working with Highest Potentials when my son was six years old. He had received an autism diagnosis, but at that time the school counselors and special educators felt a 504 plan would adequately address his needs.

As he was transitioning into third grade, it became clear to us that he needed more academic support.

We felt overwhelmed and frustrated that the school was not validating and supporting our concerns.

Barbara at Highest Potentials helped us through the process to obtain our son's IEP, and she continues to support us at interim and yearly IEP meetings to ensure we are receiving the best possible IEP goals and objectives.

She is always professional, but also willing to be a listening ear and sounding board to clarify what is and isn’t possible in terms of receiving support from within the school system.
